ABIDE: Rescue Resurrender Rejoice

As we enter the season of Lent and look toward Good Friday and Easter Sunday, our focus is on turning from sin and leaning on God to sustain us in our walk with Him. Lent invites us to live with renewed zeal for Jesus, even in the midst of our frailty, need, and opposition.

Please join us for our next ABIDE gathering, on Saturday 28 February at 7:30pm, for an evening of dwelling with the heart of Jesus. The following day, our church is exploring John 2:13–22, where Jesus confronts what has distorted His Father’s house. As John reflects on Jesus’ fierce devotion to God’s purposes, he quotes Psalm 69:9: 'Zeal for your house will consume me.' This same cry first rose from David, a man who pursued God faithfully even in the face of deep opposition, and is an invitation for us today.

Join us for an evening of reflection, prayer, praise, and worship, as we journey through Psalm 69, echoing David’s movement from Rescue, to Resurrender, to Rejoicing. 

All are welcome to attend as we seek to align our hearts with God and allow His Spirit to renew our zeal in this season of Lent.
