Bishop Barbara Darling: Sermon Series

Biography

Bishop Barbara Darling was raised in Sydney and qualified as a teacher/librarian
(BA, Dip Ed.) then studied theology at Ridley College Melbourne where she worked
as a lecturer and librarian for 12 years. She has an MA in Australian church history
from Melbourne University. She has worked in parishes as varied as Heidelberg,
Ascot Vale, Sandringham and Dandenong before starting her present role in 2009.
She enjoys meeting people, classical and sacred music, reading (particularly
historical novels and biographies), enjoying God’s creation, photography and films.
