Children are a precious gift from God. We're blessed with heaps of kids of all ages at St Alf's! To grow spiritually and socially children need age-appropriate groups to play and learn in. They also need to be welcomed and accepted in all-age worship and family activities. At St Alfred’s there is a full range of groups and programmes, including: Sunday School groupsStAKs Juniors - 3 year olds to grade 1 in Meeting Rooms 3 and 4 StAKs Seniors - Grades 2-6 in Meeting Room 2 PlaygroupsEvery Tuesday and Friday mornings at St Alfred's M.O.P.S (Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers)Fortnightly on Thursday mornings GFS for girls'Girly Fun Stuff' every Tuesday evening during term time. Historically known as the Girls' Friendly Society. The junior group (Prep to Grade 4) meets from 5.00-6.30pm. The senior Group (Grade 5 to Secondary School age) from 6.45-8.15pm. BoyZone for primary aged boysOn every second Thursday during term for boys in Grades 2-6. “Going Bananas” – our mid-year school holiday programEvery year we hold a fun holiday program, with the kids having a major part in it! All St Alfred's children's workers and volunteers comply with Victorian Government Working With Children Check regulations and with the training and safety requirements of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.
