Kieran Carr photoKieran Carr - Youth Minister

Kieran leads a team of volunteers who run our youth ministry (for everyone in high school). He loves youth ministry because it was a missing ingredient in a critical time of his life, but now he recognises the value of good Christian friends and mentors. Kieran's priority is to engage the head and heart through clear Bible teaching and help teenagers to own their personal faith. He also loves having a good belly-laugh with his wife Ruth, listening to good bands, and watching Australia play sport.

Heather Mitchell photoHeather Mitchell - Church Administrator

Heather oversees our office administration with the help of lots of wonderful volunteers. Born and raised in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) Heather and Mike immigrated to Australia in 1991. "We came to St Alfred’s originally looking for somewhere to baptise our son, but found a fantastic community who were welcoming, loving and made us feel very much at home. Watching our sons Craig and Matthew grow in their faith to become teenagers and young adults, passionate about Jesus, is something we cherish. We also enjoy camping, 4 wheel-driving and watching movies - when we get the time!"
